European COPD audit

The European Respiratory Society has funded the pilot phase of the first ever European COPD audit.  Data collection for the European COPD audit commenced on 25th October 2010.  Thirteen countries are particpating, including the UK and Ireland.  For more information please visit the European Respiratory Society's website:

Assessing and improving uptake of local COPD specialist services - a pilot study

A pilot study has been undertaken in North West London and Somerset to investigate awareness of specialist COPD services among patients and health professionals.  The report of the pilot study has been completed and is now available to download on our resources page.

 

August 2010

NCROP 2010 re-survey

Data collection for the NCROP re-survey is now complete, and analysis and report writing is underway.  We'll contact all participating respiratory units to share our report of results in the autumn.  The report will also be published on the resources section of our webpages.

Publications

Over the summer, three papers based on NCROP findings have been published in Clincial Medicine, Palliative Medicine and the Journal of Evaluation in Clinical Practice.  Please visit the resources page to see the full references.
